Rape accused flees Police custody after bail cancellation
Rapist was produced before the court for furthering the legal proceedings.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A man accused of raping a 5-year old girl fled police custody at Lahore High Court (LHC) premises on Monday.
The alleged rapist was produced before the court for furthering the legal proceedings. The accused fled away after the bail plea of accused was set aside by the court.
According to details, the relatives of the victim girl had registered the first information report (FIR) at Mandi Faizabad Police Station.
Police had arrested the accused the previous day and was being escorted by police after rejection of bail request in court premises when he cheated police personnel and made good his escape.
Police went after the fleeing accused, however, he is still on the loose.
