Woman jumps out of moving car over alleged harassment by cabbie
Police have launched an investigation into the incident
KARACHI (Dunya News) – In yet another alleged harassment case, a young woman passenger jumped out of the moving car after being allegedly harassed by a cabbie.
As per the details, the incident occurred today (Saturday) at Kala Pul bridge near Gora Qabaristan area when a female medical student jumped out of the car and sustained injuries.
The driver of the cab owned by one of the ride-hailing apps was handed over to police by the people after the woman alleged that the driver of the cab was misbehaving with her.
She said that the cabbie was constantly starring at her through mirrors of his car.
The girl also submitted an application with the police but is not pursuing the matter in order to avoid escalation.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
