Gang involved in child abuse arrested: SP Model Town
Police identified arrested suspects as Zahir, Kamran and Qasim who are cousins.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least three member of a gang were arrested on Monday, for allegedly making and distributing pornographic images of children on the internet.
Lahore Model Town police reported that three arrested suspects were identified as Zahir, Kamran and Qasim who are cousins.
SP Model Town, Ali Waseem said that the culprit sexually assaulted children in Kot Lakhpat and has confessed the crime during investigation.
Several images and videos of the sexual abuse of minors have been recovered from the accused and their cell phones also been taken into custody, SP added, further investigation is underway.
Police have identified another eight people believed to be involved in the ring, which shared the illegal material via Facebook and Skype.
The arrests occurred all across Spain, from Madrid to Barcelona, and on the Canary Islands and Balearic Islands. Police say the arrested suspects include an evangelical pastor and a former urban gang member who worked in a school cafeteria.
Earlier, DIG operations Akbar took notice of the issue prevailing in the area and had directed to arrest the accused.
