Punjab Food Authority seizes fake juice factory in Lahore
A case against the owner has also been launched.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Vigilance Cell of Punjab Food Authority has seized a fake juice factory in Lahore.
The officials recovered 4000 juice bottles from factory named as AK food production unit. All goods, two filing machines, two packing machines and cylinder were seized.
A case against the owner has also been launched.
The officers said that the factory supplies mango juice across the Lahore. The authority said that the chemical used in the juice causes different diseases affecting stomach and intestine.
On precautionary measure, DG food authority said that people should use fresh fruits and standardize juices.
