Robber injured in 'police encounter' in Lahore
Police recover looted items and weapons
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police on Monday claimed to have arrested two muggers after an alleged encounter in Allama Iqbal Town area of Lahore on Monday.
According to details, two fleeing robbers opened firing on police when the latter intercepted them in Ravi Block of the Allama Iqbal Town. However, a robber was injured in the retaliatory firing by police.
Police arrested both the robbers and recovered looted items and weaponse from them. The injured robber was shifted to the Jinnah Hospital for treatment, while his accomplice was being interrogated.
