Shopkeeper killed while resisting robbery
Police officials said that the identity of robbers could not be ascertained immediately.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A shopkeeper was killed while resisting a robbery bid in Manga Mandi, Lahore on Monday.
As per the details, four dacoits entered a retail store in Manga Mandi and started looting cash and other valuables. When the shopkeeper put up a resistance, muggers opened firing, leaving one of their accomplices dead on the spot and shopkeeper wounded.
The shopkeeper was rushed to nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
Police reached the spot and collected evidence. The body was shifted to the morgue for an autopsy.
Police officials said that the identity of robbers could not be ascertained immediately.
