Masked man escapes after throwing acid on four siblings in Sialkot

All four females suffered injuries as a result of the acid throwing and shifted to hospital

SIALKOT (Dunya News) – A masked man escaped after throwing acid on four female siblings who were admitted to a hospital and are undergoing medical treatment.

The acid throwing incident took place in Pakka Garha area, within the vicinity of Muradpur police station, where a masked man threw acid on four female members of the same family.

According to the area residents, mother of the siblings, Parveen Bibi, works as maid in different homes. A masked man entered her home and threw acid on the daughters. He escaped after the crime. 

Muradabad SHO told that the unidentified man was carrying acid in a jug. Rescue officials arrived at the spot immediately and helped transfer the victims to the hospital.

Victims include 20-year-old Afshan who’s face and body received burn injuries. Eight-year-old Razia, six-year-old Ayesha and five-year-old were admitted to the hospital along with Afshan.

Recent reports told that Afshan is in critical condition while her younger sisters suffered burn injuries as well. Police officials said that they will register case against the unknown person after issuance of medical report.
