The incident occurred in Sabzazar area where the man named Faheem was going with his wife when two motorcycle riders approached them.
The robbers snatched mobile phone, cash and jewellery from them on gunpoint.
Police arrived at the scene and recorded their statements.
They have said that a search has begun for the culprits who will be arrested soon.
