65 cars without number plates attached to them under usage of Karachi police says sources

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A number of vehicles under the use of Karachi police continue being utilised without number plates attached to them despite Sindh Interior Minister Sohail Anwar Sial’s instructions to the authorities to take action against such vehicles, reported Dunya News.

Sial’s instructions to the authorities were issued after three people including a young girl were killed at Karachi’s Nagin Chowrangi as a vehicle which appeared to be that under the use of police was subjected to firing days ago.

Sources indicate that almost 65 cars without number plates attached to them are under the usage of Karachi police. Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Anti-violent crime cell, Anti-car lifting cell and Special branches continue to use cars without number plates. Investigation police belonging to East and South zone also use vehicles having no number plates attached to them.

Joharabad police has been found using a community garden to park their vehiclesdunya  which they have confiscated from various cases and crimes.
