Karachi: Tortured body recovered, seven suspects held in separate raids
Policemen said that stern action will be continued until the end of last criminal.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Heinous crimes in Karachi have continued to prevail as a tortured body was found in the area of Pak Colony today (Saturday).
According to police, the slain was badly assaulted to death while the corpse has been shifted to hospital for post mortem. They said that investigation has been launched into the matter.
On the other hand, at least three suspects were nabbed from Saeedabad area after a police encounter. The criminals were looting the residents when security personnel arrived at the scene.
The officers have also confiscated weapons from the possession of detainees.
Separately, policemen arrested four extortionists in Qasim Gabol Goth. The culprits have been identified as Sharjeel, Naveed, Dilshad and Faisal Mota.
Law enforcers stated that the suspects used to send extortion slip to the businessmen and threatened them.
The senior police official stated that Karachi operation was launched by government which is giving positive outcomes as dozens of extortionists, target killers and terrorists have been held so far. He said that stern action will be continued until the end of last criminal.
