Summary Police sources say suspects were wanted for cases of robbery, murder and other criminal acts.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Two highly wanted dacoits on Tuesday were shot dead during a police clash in Sabzazar area. According to the police, the two suspects were attempting to flee after snatching a motorcycle from a citizen in Hanjarwal area of Sabzazar.
Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Nawakot officers exterminated the suspects during an attempt to stop them.
The suspects have been identified as Asif alias Billu and Ashraf alias Faisal.
Police sources say both perpetrators were wanted for cases of robbery, murder and other criminal activities in Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal and Faisalabad.
Sources further stated that the suspects had attacked a jail van in 2013 and managed to free 6 suspects.
The suspects had also injured 3 police officers.
