In two separate raids, Lahore police arrested 9 suspects including 3 women on Tuesday
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – 9 suspects including 3 women were on Tuesday arrested by the police in 2 separate raids, reported Dunya News.
The first operation was conducted by CIA police. A 5-member gang of robbers was arrested. The suspects arrested in this operation included Boota, Imran, Fayyaz, Shahzad and Yousaf. Meanwhile, the head of the group, Boota, is wanted in dozens of cases.
In another raid, police arrested a group of fraudsters consisting of 3 women and a man from Old Anarkali. The arrested suspects include Shabbir, Reema Bibi, Hajran Bibi and Parveen. They used to rob the people sitting in rickshaws by feeding them toxic items.
Weapons and the looted material have been discovered from the arrested suspects while further investigations are still going on.
