LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least one police officer sustained severe wounds during an encounter with dacoits at Punjab University’s ground in Lahore today (Saturday).
Hiding in the PU’s ground, the robbers were counting money after looting purse from a lady when policemen arrived.
The suspects opened fire at the security personnel and fled the scene, injuring one police officer who was later shifted to the Jinnah Hospital for medical assistance.
Moreover, police have launched an investigation into the matter.
