Summary Officials' recovered 15000 banned veterinary injections and other medicines worth Rs. 5 million.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Officials of the Health and Livestock Department on Wednesday recovered illegal medicines of worth Rs. 5 million during a joint raid conducted at factory in Multan. A case was registered against the owner of the factory Malik Ishfaq at the request of the officials.
The joint action was conducted upon receiving information on sale of prohibited medication by Ghazi Medicine factory in the industrial estate area.
The officials’ recovered 15000 banned veterinary injections while numerous other illicit medicines were also confiscated from the factory during the raid. The factory has been sealed for conducting the criminal act.
According to the Health Inspector Rao Alamgir, the government has declared such medications and injections as prohibited.
