KARACHI (Dunya News) –Crackdown against criminal elements in the city continued Wednesday as Rangers killed 3 suspects during a clash in Lyari while 25 alleged suspects were arrested from Saddar and surrounding areas.
Prior to Hazrat Imam Hussain’s ‘Chehlum’, a heavy contingent of police and Rangers conducted a joint operation in areas where the central procession is to pass and its surroundings.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) south, 25 suspected individuals were taken into custody. The individuals have been shifted to different police stations for interrogation.
Meanwhile, 2 target killers were also apprehended from Rizwia. The suspects have confessed to the target killing of 12 people.
