MULTAN (Web Desk) – In an unusual robbery incident in Punjab’s Multan city, a group of about 50 men and women targeted an electronics store causing millions of rupees loss to the owner.
The CCTV footage of the incident shows that the shoplifting mob turned up at the store at 5:00am, broke its locks and held security guard hostage. The suspects grabbed various items worth Rs 2.2 million and Rs 1.2 million cash from the store and ran away.
Some of the suspects appeared to have weapons.
Next morning, traders blocked Hassan Parwana Road in protest against the incident and chanted slogans against Punjab Police for failing to arrest the culprits.
