LAHORE (Dunya News) – 3 suspects arrested as a search operation was conducted in various areas of the city by the police and officials of the intelligence department late Wednesday night.
Police and officials of the intelligence department conducted a search operation in various areas of the city late Wednesday night and arrested 3 suspected individuals from Hanjarwal area. Ammunition including a rifle, a shotgun and a pistol was found from the arrested suspects along with an empty bag for carrying wires. Police have shifted the suspects to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
According to the details, the search operation was conducted in various areas of the city including Hanjarwal and Mazang. The operation included police and officers of the Elite Force and the intelligence department.
During the search, officers of the law enforcement agencies collected data of individuals residing in rented homes and hostels and took more than a dozen individuals into custody who failed to identify themselves. Most of them were released, however, upon providing identifications.
