LAHORE (Web Desk) – The mother and father of senior Pakistani journalist Hassan Belal Zaidi were found murdered in their residence on Wednesday night.
Zaidi’s slain parents Dr Javaid Zaidi and Mrs Kausar were laid to rest earlier in Lahore.
The preliminary police findings reported that the door of the house was locked from inside and that Dr Zaidi’s body was recovered from the bedroom while Mrs Kausar’s from basement.
The findings also suggest that the couple was killed using a sharp-edged weapon. Further investigation and extraction of forensic evidence is ongoing.
