Summary Police is hopeful to get more information after the autopsy report of 28-year old Tania
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Husband poisoned the wife after torturing her on Tuesday in Kot Lakhpat area of Lahore. Police have sent the dead body to the morgue for autopsy.
According to sources, resident of Sofiabad, 28-year old Tania was found dead in her house, when police reached and took custody of the body, the husband of Tania said that she consumed poison with intension of suicide.
Tania’s husband Adnan kept changing his statements which made police suspicious of him. Police arrested Adnan who confessed during the investigation that he fought with his wife and then killed her with the help of his friends Arshad, Muzzamil and Neka.
Police have collected the proofs from the location of crime. Residents of the area said that Adnan was a laborer and often used to torture his wife. Police is hopeful to get more information after the autopsy report.
