Summary Girl was found unconscious outside her home, medical test at Mayo hospital proved her being raped

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident of brutal rape of a 12 years old girl in Lahore on Friday. CM ordered Inspector General (IG) police to present the report of the case as soon as possible.

According to details, 12 years daughter of a laborer living in Lower Mall area of Lahore went out to buy milk on the night of Thursday but when she did not come back even after a long time then her family started searching for her. After failing to find her, the family reported to police and a case of kidnap was filed against unnamed persons.

On the morning of Friday, residents of the area found the girl lying unconscious outside her house. People informed the family about her and she was immediately transferred to Mayo hospital where a medical test of her was done, through which it was proved that the girl was brutally raped.

Residents of the area and relatives of the girl protested outside the Mayo hospital demanding the arrest of the rapists. After CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif’s orders to investigate the case on emergency basis, Superintendent Police (SP) Investigation Muhammad Naveed said that they have made the teams to arrest the culprits. He said that police will soon arrest the rapists and they will get lawful punishment. SP said that victim’s statement will help police a lot so they are waiting for the girl to come in her senses.
