MONACO (AFP) - A body was found Friday in a ravine in Monaco, prosecutors said, near where a British boxer went missing last month.

The body was found by passers-by in a deep crevice on private land. Early investigations suggested the person fell head-first.

Michael Graydon, a former boxer who heads a boxing organisation near Bristol in southern Britain, went missing in the area in late February.

No link has yet been established to the body found on Friday.

"As soon as the body of the victim has been removed, there will be a medical and legal examination to find the cause of death," the local prosecutor said in a statement.
