DUBAI (Web Desk) – India’s star batter Virat Kohli sustained a minor injury ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy final against New Zealand.

The highly anticipated final is set to take place on Sunday in Dubai. Kohli picked up the injury during a net practice session at the ICC Cricket Academy.

According to reports, the Indian batter was facing fast bowlers in the nets when a sharp delivery struck his knee, prompting him to halt practice immediately.

India’s physiotherapy staff quickly assessed him, applied a spray, and wrapped the affected area with a bandage.

Despite the injury, Kohli remained on the ground, observing the rest of the training session and updating his teammates and coaching staff on his fitness.

Later, the Indian coaching staff confirmed that the injury was not serious and assured that Kohli would be fully fit to play in the final.
