LAHORE (Web Desk) - Work on upgrading Qaddafi Stadium is progressing rapidly ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy, with the installation of six new floodlight towers underway.

The process of removing the old lights from three of the six towers has been completed, while the remaining three towers are still being worked on.

The old lights will be replaced with modern LED lights, with plans in place to complete this installation soon.

Additionally, two state-of-the-art screens will be installed at the stadium.

The main building's renovations are nearing completion. Currently, 50% of the overall upgrade work has been completed.

The deadline to finish the full upgrade of Qaddafi Stadium is set for December 31, 2024.
