Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first in the Twenty20 International against Pakistan.

Buoyed by victories in the preceding test and one-day series against Sri Lanka, Pakistan made two changes for the match at Sheikh Zayed Stadium from the 11 that won the final ODI.Veteran Younis Khan has been rested while left-arm seamer Junaid Khan is out for six weeks due to an abdominal injury.Left-handed opener Imran Farhat comes in at the top of the order, while Aizaz Cheema takes Junaids place in the pace ranks.Sri Lanka also made two changes, leaving out legspinners Seekkuge Prasanna and Jeevan Mendis and bringing in offspinners Ajantha Mendis and Dilruwan Perera.
