Erin Holland, Martin Guptill excited to join PSL 8

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Super League's (PSL) eighth edition is around the corner. Along with the fans, Erin Holland and New Zealand cricketer Martin Guptill are also excited to join the league.

Taking to Twitter, Erin wrote, "Cannot wait to be back." Erin, who is the wife of Australian cricketer Ben Cutting, has remained part of the tournament and apart from her commentary, she is also much loved in Pakistan for her amazing dress sense.

Similarly, Martin Guptill, who will be joining Quetta Gladiators, shared his excitement on Twitter, saying, “My new Franchise, my new family and my new home @TeamQuetta. Ready to give everything for my team as they look to mount a title challenge in HBLPSL.”

In the video message shared by his team, Martin said he would enjoy to play in the packed stadiums of Pakistan. Pakistan, I’m coming,” he said.

The PSL 8 will be played across four venues from Feb 13 to March 19. The Multan and Karachi-leg matches will be held from Feb 13-26, before action shifts to Lahore and Rawalpindi where 20 matches will be played from Feb 26 to March 19.

The opening ceremony of PSL 8 will be held in Multan on Feb 13 prior to the tournament opener between 2021 winners Multan Sultans and defending champions Lahore Qalandars. The closing ceremony and final will be played on March 19 in Lahore which will also host play-offs.
