Sethi to visit Dubai to discuss tense relations with ACC
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee chairman Najam Sethi will travel to Dubai to discuss with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tense relations.
The International League T20 (ILT20), which will start on Jan 13 in Dubai, reportedly extended an invitation to Najam Sethi to attend the inaugural ceremony.
Sources privy to the development said Najam Sethi would have side meetings with representatives of the ACC and the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) during the tour. Sources added that Najam Sethi would talk about the tense relations with the ACC and also outline Pakistan’s position on Asia Cup.
Pakistan will host Asia Cup, however, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to send its team due to which the competition would likely take place at a neutral venue.
