Pakistan, South Africa teams to reach Rawalpindi on Sunday for 2nd Test

The Green Caps had defeated the Proteas in the first Test by 7 wickets.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan and South Africa cricket teams will reach Rawalpindi from Karachi on Sunday (tomorrow) for the second and final Test match of the series.

The families of the cricketers will also travel with them. The second match is scheduled at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from February 4. The Green Caps had defeated the Proteas in the first match by 7 wickets.

The hosts are hopeful to win the Rawalpindi encounter and whitewash the visitors. South Africa, on the other hand, are looking for a win to level the series.

The Test series will be followed by three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on 11, 13 and 14 February. Chief selector Muhammad Wasim will name the Pakistan squad for the T20I series tomorrow.

This will be the first time the two sides will be in action in the shortest format of the game on Pakistan soil.
