Harassment allegations against Babar Azam found to be false

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Harassment allegations against national cricket team captain Babar Azam have turned out to be false, after the accuser, Hamiza Mukhtar, admitted that her accusations were baseless.

According to sources, Hamiza Mukhtar wrote an apology letter dated April 5, 2018 stating that the petition filed against Babar Azam was based on malice. “I did it at the request of some friends to annoy Babar Azam”, she said.

In the apology, the woman said that neither is she in a relationship with Babar nor ever was, and that she was forced to make the videos.

Hamiza Mukhtar said that she was made to give a thumbprint on a blank stamp paper and that she intends to go to court against those videos.
