Afridi leaves LPL to be with sick daughter

Shahid Afridi wished his team all the best in his absence.

KARACHI (Roznama Dunya) – Former Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team Shahid Afridi has left Lanka Premier League (LPL) to be with his sick daughter.

As per details, Shahid Afridi has stated a personal emergency for leaving the league; however, official website of LPL has stated that the captain of Galle Gladiators left to be with his sick daughter.

Earlier on December 2, Shahid Afridi tweeted "Unfortunately I have a personal emergency to attend to back home."

However, he went on to assure fans that he "will return to join back my team at LPL immediately after the situation is handled".

He wished his team "all the best" in his absence.
