But the match against Australia proved nerve wrecking for both fans in the ground and those watching it enthusiastically on their tellies for a run chase that could have landed Pakistan victorious.
Despite a great performance by Mohammad Amir the team batting line-up proved futile against Australia and fans all over were disappointed with their team.

Mohammad who had come to witness the match with his friends was upset for a simple catch that was dropped.
‘It was a straight forward catch so it was really disappointing to see it in front of me being dropped. Probably it showed all over my face,’ he added.
