Google marks 'Original Little Master' Hanif Mohammad's Birthday with doodle

(Web Desk)-The international search engine Google has paid homage to Pakistan s legendary cricketing star Batsman Hanif Mohammad on his 84th birthday.

In recognition of his greatness in cricketing world, today s doodle celebrates Hanif Mohammad, the 50-70s era cricket sensation, for his heroic performances in Test cricket. He played 55 matches with 11 games as team captain and has 3915 runs in toto and bagged 12 centuries.

The little master is believed to have introduced reverse sweep and is first Pakistani in white uniform to bat for triple- century. His individual score of 499 in an innings broke record of Sir Don Bradman which substantiates to the fact that Hanif Mohammad was a stand-out batsman serving as an all time inspiration for the players of this bat & ball sport .

As a mark of pride he is only Pakistani to be among the 55 legends placed in the International Cricket Council s (ICC) Hall of Fame. Hanif Mohammad passed away in 2016 leaving indelible impression of his mastery on the world of cricket.
