Virat Kohli excluded from Asia Cup squad
Sharma will lead the side in Kohli's absence while Dhawan has been named vice-captain.
MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced 16-member Indian squad for the upcoming Asia Cup that will begin later this month in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The press release stated that the committee, in consultation with the team management, took a unanimous decision to rest Virat Kohli for the tournament.
Rohit Sharma will lead the side while Shikhar Dhawan has been named vice-captain, it added.
