(Dunya News) – With the Pakistan Super League final just a few days away, preparations are underway in Karachi’s National Stadium.
Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United will be facing each other in Karachi on March 25. Safety measures and administrative preparations in the stadium have been finalised.
The tickets for the much anticipated final match between Peshwar Zalmi and Islamabad United in Karachi sold out on spot with thousands of cricket fans queuing to buy these the same day.
The city is running high on cricket fever as the two teams clash against one another on Sunday. Die hard cricket fans are coming to the finals from all over the country while others will be watching it on their television screens.

Strict safety measures have been taken ahead of the match, where rangers have taken over the security of the stadium. More than 80 security cameras have been installed, monitoring every part of the stadium through the command and control room.
Speaking to Dunya News, Qaiser Abbas, in-charge of the CCTV company overlooking the security said that anyone entering the premises of the stadium will be monitored through security cameras. “We are monitoring every single person on the premises, from the point of entrance of the stadium to the seating inside the enclosures,” he said.
Ministry of Health Sindh has arranged special mobile hospitals in the stadium to deal with emergency situations.
Doctor Seemi Jamali, Head of Jinnah Hospital, said that, “there is a fixed hospital as well where our doctors, nurses and paramedical staff will be available, along with all the basic medical assistance”.
National Stadium’s interior and exterior parts are in its final preparations and reparations ahead of the 25th March match.
