DUBAI (Dunya News) – Peshawar Zalmis are ready to battle it out with Lahore for survival today after beating the mighty Kings by 44 runs last evening.
In the first match between Qalandars and Zalmis, the latter secured a whopping 10-wicket victory over the former. But keeping in view Qalandars fierce come-back, Zalmis could very well end up getting out of the tournament along with their dangerous-looking opponents today.
Last evening, Peshawar beat Karachi by 44 runs to delay their ouster from the tournament. Batting first, Peshawar Zalmi scored 181 runs in the allotted twenty overs. In reply, Karachi Kings could only manage 137 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
If Peshawar win today, they will be through to the top 4, leaving Karachi and Multan to wait for the result of the last league match which will be played between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings later.
