PSL teams announce player retentions and swaps
Pacer Sohail Khan will be joining Lahore Qalandars according to recent trade announcement
(Web Desk) – Preparations are already in full swing for the third edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) with franchises swapping players to strengthen their combinations.
In the recent trade announcements, Mohammad Rizwan of Lahore Qalandars will now join Karachi Kings and make room for Sohail Khan in his former side. The PSL draft will soon be organised in which these trades will be kept in mind by franchise owners. All-rounder Iftikhar Ahmad has been secured by Islamabad United from Peshawar Zalmi.
It was later on informed by the PSL management that the five teams have retained these players in their squads:

It was earlier announced by PCB Chairman Najam Sethi that new players including JP Duminy, Chris Lynn, Mitchell Johnson, Angelo Mathews, Rashid Khan and Evin Lewis will join the PSL 3 draft. Also, Shahd Afridi had earlier announced to leave Peshawar Zalmi and join Karachi Kings.
