Summary He called out Indian board on its 'reluctance' to play Pakistan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Super League (PSL) Chairman Najam Sethi has said on Tuesday that World XI are to visit Pakistan in September and contrary to earlier reports, he said that Sri Lanka is to play Pakistan as well.
Sethi addressed a ceremony hosted by the Prime Minister (PM) at the PM House in honour of the winning squad of Champions Trophy 2017.
In his speech, he said that World XI and Sri Lanka team’s arrival for separate series was scheduled and West Indies are to tour Pakistan as well.
He called out Indian board on its ‘reluctance’ to play Pakistan and politicising the tour that was scheduled for this year before Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) pulled out.
The PSL chairman thanked the premier for his support and guidance of the cricket authority in Pakistan.
However, it was reported earlier in the day today that Sri Lanka had refused to play Pakistan in her home.
