ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Shahryar Khan on Thursday delayed the ceremony pertaining to giving awards to Misbah-ul-Haq, Younis Khan and Shahid Afridi who recently took retirement from all cricket format.
Speaking at PCB’s annual function, Khan said that the awards would be given in the presence of all the cricketers.
“We would talk with Misbah and Younis and would offer them our proposals which hopefully they would accept,” he said.
He said replacement of Misbah would be named before the test series against Sri Lanka in September.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Super League (PSL) chairman Najam Seth said that the authorities have clarified Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCC) to play series or to pay compensation money.
Najam Sethi also announced to approach tribunal if India refuse to organize series.
