Summary PCB has offered both countries to play the series before the 2018 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has offered Australia and Sri Lanka to play under-19 series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to details, PCB director cricket operations Haroon Rashid has started working after assuming the charge of his post, and has contacted with the cricket boards of Australia and Sri Lanka to play U19 series with Pakistan.

PCB has offered both the countries to play the series before the 2018 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup so that all three teams enter the tournament with good preparations.

Furthermore, UAE has been chosen as the venue of these series due to security concerns in Pakistan. According to PCB sources, Australia and Sri Lanka might have refused to send their teams to Pakistan due to security issues, but there is no such problem in UAE.

It has further been informed that Haroon Rashid is now trying to show good performance as director cricket operations because he had failed earlier at many posts.
