Shoaib Akhtar describes his role if PCB offers a post
Akhtar said he would have taken 500 wickets if he had played under the captaincy of Imran Khan.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Former speedstar and world’s fastest bowler Shoaib Akhtar has said that he would not take the ‘job’ of Pakistan bowling coach.
According to details, Shoaib Akhtar said he will not become an employee of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), rather he would render his services voluntarily to the board.
Talking about the captains of Pakistan team, Shoaib said Wasim Akram was the best under whose leadership he played, but he would have taken 500 wickets if he had played under the captaincy of Imran Khan.
Shoaib Akhtar, replying to a question, told that he once asked Viv Richards whether he would have been scared if I had bowled against him. Akhtar continued, “Viv replied certainly, but I would have definitely faced your bowling.”
