LAHORE (Duny News) - Director Cricket Coaching Academies SBP Zaheer Abbas and Director General Sports Punjab, Zulfiqar Ahmed Ghumman inaugurated Sports Board Punjab’s third and women’s first cricket academy at Kinnaird College today (Wednesday).
During the ceremony, the women player expressed their ecstasy and appreciated the step taken by Punjab government.
It may be recalled here that SBP’s first two cricket coaching academies have been launched in Rawalpindi and Sialkot respectively, said a spokesman of SBP.
“SBP has planned to establish cricket academies in all major districts of the province. However, in the first phase, the cricket academies will be built in four cities Lahore, Sialkot, Rawalpindi and Multan”, he asserted.
