Usman Qadir picked 61 wickets and scored 400 runs while playing for South Africa's grade one cricket

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Usman Qadir, who is the son of renowned Pakistani spinner Abdul Qadir, is all set to shift to South Africa. He states that it is not possible for the son of one of the game’s legends to be a part of the team while staying in Pakistan, reported Dunya News on Sunday.

Following the footsteps of the  googly-master  Imran Tahir, Usman is also ready to depart for South Africa. He is expected to attain South African citizenship after a period of two-and-a-half years. Qadir is disappointed with the policies of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), he states that he has not been included in the national side despite the fact that he picked up the most wickets in various tournaments representing the Under-19 A team and the Under-23 side.

Abdul Qadir states that his son is facing backlash over his criticism upon the Board. He added that previously, three of his other sons were also treated in a similar manner on the basis of which he permitted Usman to go to South Africa.

Usman Qadir picked 61 wickets and scored 400 runs while playing for South Africa’s grade one cricket and remained at the top.
