Summary Bowlers performed well at start but after 6 wickets they couldn't keep pressure on kiwis: Azhar Ali

WELLINGTON (Dunya News) –Captain of Pakistan one day cricket team Azhar Ali said on Monday that the partnership of Hafeez and Babar could make the team win the first One Day International (ODI) if continued, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, the ODI captain of Green Shirts said that his bowlers performed well at the beginning but after getting six wickets they could not keep the pressure on New Zealand.

Azhar said that the target of 281 runs given by New Zealand was not too hard but the team could not come back in the match after the partnership of Hafeez and Babar broke.

The ODI captain applauded the performance of young batsman Babar Azam and Mohammad Amir, who is playing his first ODI after five years.
