WELLINGTON (Dunya News) – A left-arm Pakistani fast bowler Wahab Riaz on Tuesday sustained an ordinary injury during practice ahead of third Twenty20 against New Zealand.

According to sources, the player was doing practicing when he got his left arm injured however, the medics said that the injury is minor and he will be fine after some rest.

Earlier, Wahab Riaz lost his line and length after he was hit for six by Martin Guptill during the second twenty 20 match against New Zealand on Sunday.

Wahab Riaz’s extremely wide delivery is not the first of its kind. Many bowlers have bowled such wide balls in the past.

South African bowler Dale Steyn once bowled a very wide ball against West Indies. Morne Morkel has also made the same mistake in the past. English fast bowler Steve Harmison also once bowled a very wide delivery in the slips.
