SYDNEY (AFP) - The West Indies were 248 for seven at tea on the rain-hit second day of the third Test between Australia and the West Indies in Sydney on Monday.

Only 11.2 overs were possible in the first two sessions when tea was taken with the covers protecting the pitch area from continuing rain.
