Summary Sushma Swaraj returned to India without any formal announcement
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday will approach Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for a final response over much talked about series between the neighbours.
The board has stated that it will contact Indian cricket authority for one last time today.
India has maintained a quite confused stance since past weeks when it comes to cricket series with Pakistan.
Indian Foreign Minister (CM) Sushma Swaraj landed in Islamabad on late Tuesday to lead delegation in the fifth Heart of Asia Conference. The Indian representative was likely to formally announce the series however, she returned without talking about the matter.
The conference saw a joint declaration between India and Pakistan to combine efforts to weed-out terrorism but cricket series was mentioned nowhere.

PCB Chairman Shehryar Khan was invited by the Indian counterpart but the intolerant country could not see a Pakistani diplomat land in India. Indian extremist wing, Shiv Sena launched series of protests leaving Khan not choice but to return with no positive outcome.
Indian media also joined the circus later on and claimed at least twice that the government has given a go-ahead to the series however, the government failed to maintain a stance that could solve the confusion.
