Summary Sushma Swaraj is likely to formally announce the series today
LAHORE (Dunya News) – 52 percent people think that Pakistan and India should go ahead with cricket series while 48 percent denounced sports ties with the intolerant country, says poll done by Dunya News on Twitter.
Out of a total of 559 social media respondents, more than half the number of people has said that there should be a cricket series with India however, 48 percent do not wish to see Pakistan indulge in any activity with India that is not necessary.
On the other hand, Indian media has claimed that short bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan will be held between December 24 and January 5.
The decision came as Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj arrived in Islamabad to attend fifth Heart of Asia Conference with the message of peace and stronger ties with Pakistan.
The tentative schedule discussed includes three ODIs and two Twenty20 matches.
Pakistan head coach Waqar Younis had also informed the PCB that if the series against Indian goes ahead then he would like to have a week-long camp in Sri Lanka before the matches.
Swaraj is likely to formally announce series with Pakistan during the Heart of Asia Conference today.
