Summary PCB Chairman has now pitched hopes in Sushma Swaraj, says action decided in case of no series
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan has on Monday said that the decision on Pakistan-India series will be taken in a day or two. Pitching his hopes in Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, Shehryar said that he thinks Indian FM will bring good news, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media at Gaddafi Stadium, Shehryar Khan said that he is still hopeful about India series. He hoped that Sushma Swaraj would bring good news. “We hope the decision will be made within a day or two”, he said.
Responding to a question, Shehryar said that PCB has already decided which ‘pitch’ it is going to play on if the series doesn’t take place.
On a question regarding Mohammad Aamir’s return to the team, Shehryar said that he cannot be included back into the team immediately. He said that Aamir still needs a lot of training.
Shehryar Khan is still hopeful of the series and says that the cooperation with Sri Lankan board will continue. He said that the host country will help regarding visa and hotels.
