NAGPUR (AFP) - India were 85 for two at lunch on the opening day of the third Test against South Africa in Nagpur on Wednesday.

Cheteshwar Pujara was unbeaten on 18 and skipper Virat Kohli was on 11 after the hosts won the toss and elected to bat on a dry pitch at the VCA stadium.

Openers Murali Vijay (40) and Shikhar Dhawan (12) were the batsmen dismissed in the first session.

India lead the four-match series 1-0 after winning the first Test in Mohali by 108 runs. The rain-hit second game in Bangalore was drawn.
