Faisalabad: Saeed Ajmal cricket academy flooded with water

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – A friendly match that was scheduled to be played between Saeed Ajmal XI and University XI in Faisalabad today (Sunday) was canceled as the ground flooded with water.
According to sources, Saeed Ajmal himself announced the cancellation of the match and the ceremony of signing MoU keeping in view the situation.
Meanwhile, the teams arrived at the scene and showed disappointment however, the stance from university side has still not come forward in this regard.

Earlier, Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif took notice of Saeed Ajmal cricket academy issue by directing the law minister Rana Sanaullah to resolve the matter after which, the minister contacted Vice Chancellor of Agriculture University, District Coordination Officer (DCO) and off-spinner Saeed Ajmal.
Reportedly, the concerning people signed an agreement, stating that the land will remain be on University’s name while the star player will continue training new cricketers in his academy.
Ajmal said that he is thankful to Punjab government for unbiased decision but he also urged to sign the MoU after the settlement of all the issues.
