Summary Biggest stars of cricket reach New York to play the first ever T20 match in US history on Saturday
NEW YORK: (Dunya News) – First ever Twenty20 cricket game is going to be played tomorrow (Saturday) at City Field Stadium in New York City and the Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar is going to lead the side that also features the Rawalpindi Express, Shoaib Akhtar, reported Dunya News.
According to details, the game is going to be played between 2 teams headed by Sachin Tendulkar and the other by Australian great Shane Warne. Sachin is going to captain the side named Sachin Blasters while Shan Warne will be leading Warne Warriors.

Little Master Sachin Tendulkar’s team will include Virendera Sehwag (India), VVS Laxman (India), Brian Charles Lara (West Indies), Saurav Ganguly (India)Mahela Jayavardane (Sri Lanka), Carl Hooper (West Indies), Moeen Khan (Pakistan), Muttiah Muralitharan (Sri Lanka), Graeme Swann (England), Curtly Ambrose (West Indies), Shaun Pollock (South Africa), Glenn McGrath (Australia), Lance Klusener (South Africa) and Shoaib Akhtar (Pakistan).
Shane Warne’s team is going to include Matthew Hayden (Australia), Michael Vaughan (England), Ricky Ponting (Australia), Johnty Rhodes (South Africa), Jaques Kallis (South Africa), Andrew Symonds (Australia), Kumar Sangakara (Sri Lanka), Saqlain Mushtaq (Pakistan), Daniel Vettori (New Zealand), Courtney Walsh (West Indies), Wasim Akram (Pakistan), Allan Donald (South Africa) and Ajit Agarkar (India).

Talking to the media, Sachin and Warne said that they wanted to introduce Cricket in the US for a long time. Moeen Khan said that he was ready to show his skills while Swing legend Wasim Akram welcomed the event. Shoaib Akhtar said that he was happy to be playing with Sachin Tendulkar while off-spin superstar Saqlain Mushtaq said that All-Stars Cricket to promote the game in the countries where it isn’t played currently is a great initiative.
Players of the two teams also opened the stock in New York today as part of the advertising campaign. Cricket is certainly going to bang into US this coming week.
